2005 RUF Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet – 6-Speed

This exceptional 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet has
been expertly modified by the renowned RUF Automobile, blending
high-performance engineering with collector-grade exclusivity. Featuring
bespoke visual enhancements and precision-tuned performance upgrades, this rare
example delivers an amazing driving experience.

At its core is a fully customized 3.8L supercharged RUF
engine, meticulously engineered to produce approximately 420 horsepower. The
car remains in pristine condition, exemplifying RUF’s legendary craftsmanship. 

It is Important
to note that there is no bore scoring in the motor, apparently this is a common
issue with some 997’s (approximate 20% of them). I had my mechanic inspect
this when I purchased her as one of the first items using a borescope camera
and also verified the IMS bearing which was also completed (the service
history is included). 

Visually, this 997 stands out with a striking ceramic coated
Baby Blue ‘Gulf Blue’ wrap, (I loved that color and chose to wrap her),
although the original Carrera White finish beneath still remains in
excellent condition (pictures of the white body are included).  This beauty features an authentic RUF body kit
with revised front fascia, rear bumper, and custom side skirts designed
specifically for this narrow-body chassis. The transformation was
professionally executed by authorized RUF specialists at RAC Performance in
Dallas, Texas. Additional exterior highlights include a Metropol Blue
cabriolet top (with a few small folding blemishes) and matching new 19-inch
five-spoke original RUF wheels, fitted with brand-new Michelin tires (235/35
ZR19 front & 295/30 ZR19 rear).

Inside, the Sea Blue full leather interior exudes
luxury, with supple leather upholstery on both the front and rear seats.
Premium features include heated and power-adjustable front seats, self-dimming
mirrors, and the Bose High-End Sound Package with a six-disc remote CD
changer. Factory-exclusive options such as Porsche crested headrests,
illuminated doorsill guards, and a leather Sport steering wheel
further elevate the cabin’s appeal.

Performance is at the heart of this build. The 3.8L
flat-six engine has been completely rebuilt and tuned by RUF, enhanced with
a $25,000 RUF supercharger kit for exhilarating power delivery. A six-speed
manual transmission channels this performance to the rear wheels, offering
an engaging and dynamic driving experience. Additional performance upgrades
include a lowered sport suspension, a brand-new heavy-duty racing clutch, and a
$5,000 Cargraphic exhaust system.

Factory performance features such as Porsche Active
Suspension Management (PASM) and the Sport Chrono Package allow for
customizable driving dynamics. The vehicle is fully up to date on all scheduled
maintenance, including a recent fluid and filter change (Fall 2022), and new
gasket too.

This rare supercharged RUF 997 Cabriolet is 1 of
only 2 produced in North America and is accompanied by two keys, original
books, and RUF documentation.

Before you ask, I am selling her, as I need to bring down my
fleet, too many cars and not enough time to enjoy them.

Other notes, she has been inspected and registered in
Montreal Quebec and maintained by my Porsche mechanic.  Should you want her to be inspected, I can
have it arranged by your choice of dealerships.
