KENYA PORSCHE SAFARI EXPERIENCE
Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1 “Vintage Voyage” refers to Vintage Voyage Limited, a body corporate duly incorporated and existing under the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
1.2 “Participant” refers to any individual who registers for, books, or participates in the Kenya Porsche Safari Experience.
1.3 “Event” refers to the Kenya Porsche Safari Experience organised and operated by Vintage Voyage.
1.4 “Vehicles” refers to safari-prepared Porsche vehicles supplied and supported by Safari Projek.
1.5 “Safari Projek” refers to the third-party vehicle supplier, modifier, and technical support partner.
2. Formation of Contract
2.1 By registering for the Event, the Participant enters into a binding contractual agreement with Vintage Voyage.
2.2 The contract is deemed concluded upon written confirmation by Vintage Voyage and/or receipt of a deposit.
2.3 Upon conclusion of the contract, Vintage Voyage shall issue a written booking confirmation outlining essential Event details and pricing.
2.4 Any deviation between a Participant’s registration and Vintage Voyage’s confirmation constitutes a new offer, which becomes binding upon acceptance or payment of a deposit.
2.5 A Participant booking on behalf of others confirms they are authorised to do so and accepts joint and several liability for all associated obligations.
3. Eligibility & Driving Requirements
3.1 Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the commencement of the Event.
3.2 Each Participant must hold and present:

A valid national driving licence in English, and
-
An International Driving Permit where applicable.
3.3 Participants are solely responsible for complying with all applicable Kenyan driving requirements.
3.4 Vintage Voyage reserves the right to refuse participation without refund where valid documentation is not presented or where a Participant is subject to driving restrictions.
4. Vehicles & Allocation
4.1 All Event vehicles are supplied exclusively by Safari Projek.
4.2 No entitlement exists to a specific vehicle, colour, or configuration unless expressly confirmed in writing.
4.3 Each vehicle accommodates a maximum of two (2) Participants.
4.4 Vintage Voyage reserves the right to substitute vehicles when required for operational, safety, or logistical reasons.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 A deposit is required to secure a booking and vehicle allocation.
5.2 The remaining balance must be paid according to the issued payment schedule.
5.3 Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation without refund.
5.4 All payments must be made to Vintage Voyage’s designated company account.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
6.1 All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
6.2 A USD 12,000 deposit is required to secure vehicle allocation and is non-refundable once received, as vehicles and essential services are contracted immediately.
6.3 Cancellation terms:

More than 120 days before expedition start: deposit forfeited; additional payments refunded less unrecoverable third-party costs.

120–60 days before start: 50% of total booking value is non-refundable.

Within 60 days of start: 100% of total booking value is non-refundable.
6.4 Bookings may be transferred to another suitable Participant subject to approval and administrative costs.
6.5 Vintage Voyage strongly recommends comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance.
6.6 If Vintage Voyage cancels the Event due to circumstances beyond its control, payments will be refunded less unrecoverable third-party costs.
7. Event Modifications
7.1 Vintage Voyage reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, accommodation, or activities due to safety, weather, regulatory, or operational requirements.
7.2 Such changes shall not constitute a breach of contract provided the Event’s overall character remains intact.
8. Safety & Conduct
8.1 Participants must comply with all instructions issued by Event staff and support teams.
8.2 Zero tolerance applies to:

Alcohol consumption while driving
-
Drug use
-
Reckless or dangerous driving
8.3 Participants who endanger others or disrupt the Event may be removed without refund.
9. Vehicle Damage & Liability
9.1 Participation occurs entirely at the Participant’s own risk.
9.2 Vehicles are insured through Safari Projek, subject to excesses and exclusions.
9.3 Participants are liable for insurance excess, uninsured losses, recovery, repair, or replacement costs arising from reckless or negligent conduct.
9.4 Responsibility determinations will be made in consultation with Safari Projek’s technical team.
10. Third-Party Services
10.1 Certain services are provided by independent third parties.
10.2 Vintage Voyage acts solely as organiser and coordinator and is not liable for failures attributable to third-party providers.
11. Insurance
11.1 Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive personal travel, medical, and cancellation insurance.
11.2 Vehicle insurance does not replace personal insurance obligations.
12. Media & Content
12.1 Vintage Voyage may capture photographs and video during the Event.
12.2 Participants grant a royalty-free licence for promotional and documentary use.
12.3 Personal, non-commercial recording is permitted unless restricted for safety reasons.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 Vintage Voyage is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, government action, weather, or security concerns.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
14.2 All disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
15. Severability
15.1 If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
16. Acceptance
16.1 By registering, paying a deposit, or participating, the Participant confirms full understanding and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
